How can I convince my parents to give me a pet monkey?I REALLY REALLY REALLY WANT A MONKEY!!!!!!!!!!

I really think you should do your research, before getting a pet monkey. Some of the things you may find out could possibly change your mind in a heartbeat.
Many of the people you see with pet monkeys have them as babies. They can grow up to be very aggressive and dangerous to you and other people, if you don't know what you're doing.
They require a lot of room, a lot of special care, and I'm pretty sure you need a permit to own one, and they may be illegal period, in some areas.
Please, do your research, first, and then talk to your parents afterward, if you find you haven't changed your mind.

Prove to them that you are responsible enough to own a pet monkey. Perhaps volunteer at a local shelter to show your parents that you care about animals and are willing to put forth the effort to care for a monkey. Once you have done that, set up somewhere for the monkey to live; to show your parents that you will take care of your monkey and give it everything it needs. Start saving your money so you can buy everything you will need. If you are really responsible and show that you can do it, there is a pretty good chance that you can get it.

I wouldn't know too many parents who would allow a monkey. If you had mentioned cat or dog, you might have had a chance. I would never let my children bring a monkey home no matter how they begged, cried or argued. I hope you've come up with some convincing arguments for this one. Good luck !

a monkey, a monkey, you want a monkey, why a monkey they will trash your house.......... work at the zoo then it will be like having a pet monkey...then when you move out, if you still really want one you can get one.... but for now work at the zoo

Monkey make terrible house pets. They bite and poop everywhere and they are destructive. You will have to change its diapers it you decide to use them. Get a puppy or a kitten.

Tell them that monkeys are really good companions and that they can do some household jobs.
Be careful though because they are destructive!

idk turn like emo and act all deppresed and once they ask you whats wrong then tell them i feel lonley and nned an animal
