My prom was this weekend and it was so bad, no body had a fun time. Did anyone else have this happen to them? Doesn't it suck?

i avoided prom for that reason alone

When I went to prom my senior year, I thought I was going to have a good time, but I didn't, so don't feel bad. In fact, to elaborate, everything went wrong from the get go. Specifically, the DJ hired by the school some time before the dance played the same songs over and over again and only played something new every hour on the hour, which everyone who attended found to be extremely annoying. In fact, the ONLY reasons why I attended my senior prom were because (1) I couldn't attend prom my freshman, sophomore, and junior years, and (2) it would be the last time I would be able to attend such an event while I was still in school. Looking back, however, I now realize just how boring it was and that I should have just stayed home and not gone anywhere, so, as I said right off the top, don't feel bad about your decision.

Sorry to hear it not go well. My Prom been a long time ago. It was great. It was in the top of a tall building and we had a live band and food. We even managed to spike the punch. My girl was so pretty. I had a Top Hat and Cane to go with my Tux. Only one other guy had a Top Hat. Everyone was calling me the "Ice Cream Man" (Oh! My My, stop me when I'm passing by).
Anyway, sorry you not have a good time. Really an important time for people, I feel.

My prom was three years ago. But, I remember it was pretty boring. It seemed like a waste of time and money. I'm glad my dress wasn't that expensive. I had more fun after prom..just hanging out.
I honestly think prom is just too hyped.

Im sorry top hear about it. Maybe you should arrange some sort of party over the summer.
My prom is coming up soon. Im hoping it will be fun, relaxing night, but as of now its kind of chaotic planning it all!

Yea I didn't have a date and me and my friend just sat at a table alone with two other people watching everyone dance. Biggest waste of money ever.

yeah, when i was a teen, i went to 4 proms...all of them sucked & it was a huge waste of time & money!!! i really regret ever having gone to them!!!

everyone decided to settle old scores
it was a massive riot
with alcohol and blood everywhere
