Meaning when I am just cruising not romping on it, at any givin speed around where sould i keep the rpm's? The manual has a section on it but it seems to bog down the engine when you shift at there shift points. They are telling me i should be in 6th gear at 37 mph and that slightly bogs the engine

Red line on that bike is over 10,000 RPMs
5000-6000 RPMs is an easy, comfortable range.
6th gear @ 37 mph is way to slow. That's harmful to the engine, as it's struggling to stay running

About 3-4000rpm. Though it should pull cleanly from about 2000rpm in all gears.
