Use factoring to solve the equation.

4 x^2 + 36 x = 0

First, factor out 4x:
4x(x+9) = 0

Set each one equal to zero.
4x = 0
X+9=0

X= 0 and -9.

if a general ^2 equation is ax^2+bx+c
to find the zeros you havo to do
(-b+ sqrt(b^2-4ac))/2a
and
(-b- sqrt(b^2-4ac))/2a

which is, in this case

(-36 + sqrt(16 - 16))/8=-36/8= -9/2
and
(-36 - sqrt(16-16))/8=-36/8= -9/2

in this case, the zero are dovetailing, which means they are in the same x.
in fact, delta (that is b^2-4ac) is 0.
