In Greek mythology there is Sisyphus. He was a cunning man who cheated death but was ultimately punished. For all of eternity he had to roll a bolder uphill, only to watch it roll back down. I would be interested in knowing the answer. :)

How about Christ rolling away the stone of his tomb?
