a month ago my friends and I were at a party and it got rated. Eleven of us were arrested and i was grounded for 3 weeks. None of my other friends are really affected by what happened and still drink everyweekend. I still wanna go out and have fun but im scared it might happen again. How can I still hang out with the same people without getting into trouble,

Someone said it right: If they are your real friends, they won't mind if you don't drink.

Personally, I never drank - lived with alcoholic parents. I had friends who drank, especially when I was in the Navy. There was often pressure, but I never gave in. Even some of those who "pressured" me remained as friends. Those who didn't, well, I didn't need them anyway.

Real friendship is not based on what someone looks like, how they behave or what they do. It is based on nonjudgemental and unconditional attitude toward each other and a commitment that says friends, no matter what.

You can't! Not if they are going to involve themselves in activities that are illegal. Since you have already been arrested once then I would assume that you are on probation and if you get caught again, even if you are not drinking, you will be in serious trouble.

I tell my kids if you are going to do dumb things, like underage drinking, don't do it with stupid people, the ones that get rowdy enough to draw unwanted attention.

I also tell them to learn to pick and choice their friends better.

You have surely heard the saying "birds of a feather flock together." You are truly judged by those you choose to hang around with! That's the reality of life!

not drinking when your friends do is a sign of more maturity than most people have when they are in middle age. Stop, be the designated driver and collect a fee from each to drive them home

You cant. Good for you for questioning. You need a new group of friends and there are lots of good ones out there.

You need to find some new friends
to hang out with that don't drink.
