Join the "GAS OUT" on May 15th?

Question

We gotta do SOMETHING, people, no matter WHAT the naysayers snivel about it!
Do not pump gas on May 15th! Let's hit 'em where they hurt the worst! In the cash register! Maybe THIS will get their attention! ! ! !
In April 1997, there was a 'gas out' conducted nationwide in protest of obscene gas prices. Gasoline prices dropped 30 cents a gallon overnight. On May 15th 2007, try not to go to a gas station in protest of high gas prices.
Gas is now over $3.00 a gallon in most places.
The average car takes about 20 to 30 dollars to fill up! !
If everybody did not go to the pump on the 15th, it would take $2,200,000,000.00 (that's BILLION) out of the oil companys' pockets for just one day, so please do not go to the gas station on May 15th and lets try to put a dent in the oil industry for at least one day.
If you agree (which I can't see why you wouldn't) forward this ? with "Don't pump gas on May 15th! !"

It wont kill me to not buy gas for that day; i know it wont kill them, but at least it might send the message that i am POd!

To them its like a grain of sand in the ocean.. Its meaningless and they darn well know they have you by the Ball_..The government and the oil companies are in this for their own selfish personal interests...Lets insist on electric or nuclear vehicles...Horse and buggy or bicycles or walking... All of the alternatives I have mentioned...

Forget about taking money away fromthe gas company we want to take money away fromt he federal government. They make just as much money if not more off a gallon of gasoline than the oil companies!!!!!
Tell them we want less taxes

Not using gas for only one day isn't going to even leave a scratch. Honestly just one day. That's like calling them names behind their back!
