Solve the equation.
-3.5m + 0.7 + 1.6m = 5.7 - 1.9m - 4

-3.5m + 1.6m = 5.7 - 4 - 0.7 1.9m
-1.9m = 1 - 1.9m
0 = 1

there's something odd going on here.

-1.9 m + 0.7 = -1.9 m +1.7

-1.9 m + 1.9 m = 1.7 -0.7

0 = 1

there is no solution for the equation

no the answer is that there are infinitly many solutions.
any value for m will make the identity true.
