I'm talking about my best friend, we do everything together and we want (or at least I want, though he has told me the same thing) to spend every moment together and the instant we separate I start missing him sooo much!!! I'm not sure if I'm in love, but If I am I would want to make it go away, I don't want to love him! Cuz I know he won't love me back and we're..I don't know, great right now! What should I do?

I used to have feelings for my best guy friend. I was crazy about him and I never told him. It was so hard we were inseparable. I don't regret it because now years later I am engaged to a wonderful man whom I love very much. My point is I am a firm believer in what is meant to be will be. If he likes you he will tell you. If you are supposed to be with him you will be eventually be together. So my advice is to just set back and let things happen one way or the other.

Look, if you try and observe if you feel the same for some other people too. Also, it can help you identify your feelings if you try to spend some days out of town where your best friend is not around. if you miss him for a day or two, it's just friendship. if much more longer, you are in love. and the moment You realize you are in love tell him that, Also, tell him that if he doesn't feel the same way, this issue will never be discussed between you and you will always be best friends. i am in love with my best friend and he did the same thing. and today, We are Happily Together ! ! SYAY FRIENDS ,I FOUND OUT ,A LONG TIME AGO YOU CANT DATE YOUR FRIENDS ,MY FRIEND,wouldnt stop telling me he loved me ,well i loved him too , just not in that way,i whent out on a date with him and it turned out very weird ,our friendship just wasnt the same after that ,some how you see your relationship different ,it is hard to be friends when you have one that sees it as more ,so figure out how you really feel ,and dont preasure the other person ,who knows both of you may fall in love just let it happen you will know when your friend has stronger feelings for you ,you will feel that electrical tingling coming from you both ,then you can make your move ,but be suttle dont scare them off,hey good luck in love !!!!!!!!!

i can imagine Ur present situation but pals dint go and propose to him for ever box Ur shoure that he wont accept ur love so dont ever miss such a good friend the closeness between u and him is making u people to feel of being together getting such a friend shipwould have taken more years but if u propose him the same friendship will get breakdown in minutes so dont ever feel of saying to him all the best to ur friendship

I find it very easy to back away from feelings for someone when I add up all the things I know would clash between us. You sound as if you know already so spare yourself the anguish by weighing the good and bad level of possibilities.

I know what that's like. Same thing happened to me once. In my case it was that i was in love with him and i think he liked me back but i knew it just wouldn't work because our families are to close.... Different, i know, but i still feel like i kinda understand what u mean...
Well, it's kinda tough and all, but..... well, do you think that you would want to continue being his friend like this? Don't you think it might be better to at one point just tell him the truth unless you are POSSITIVELY ABOSOLUTLY sure he will say no? Don't you think you might be kinda unhappy if you just keep hiding your feelings like this? Or if you want, you can always hint things and see what he does. Like say "Imagine what it would be like if we where going out and not just friends! Which one would you prefer(say in a teasing way. DO NOT act serious, major givaway)" Or you can change it or whatever since you know him and i don't...

Maybe you just get lonely when your not with your friend and you should find some hobbies and or some other friends to go hang out with also. You are putting too much thought into this "friendship" and making more out of it then it is! Maybe you have a case of codependency. Try to go do some new things with yourself or other friends.

it sound like you are in love with him i am having the same problem we are always together but once we are not together i start thinking about him and he starts thinking about me. how can you say that he wont love you back you never know if he will or not if you dont try i know its working for me but we are not dating yet

Tell him what's going on. If you don't then you will continue to fall in love with him and if he is not falling in love with you as well the let down and the heartache will be worse later on than it will be right now.
