The same global special interests that funded the Bush campaign are funding Clinton now. Both have voted for The war in Iraq, The Patriot Acts, The National ID Card, No Child Left "a dime" Behind act, NAFTA, and much more legislation designed to undermine the USA. The supposed Republican front runners are just cannon fodder against the Democrats this year. Vote for Ron Paul before it's to late.

I think they're on the verge of a nervous breakdown! They have to come up with new ideas on how to steal elections, having lost the last two presidential and the 2006 general election. Their current 'hopefuls' have weak mass appeal. There hasn't been anything good to say about Republicans since before Watergate, and then Iran-contra, the Wed-tech scandal, the HUD scandal , the AIDS scandal , even the Clinton sex scandal made them look bad. The Bush/Chaney debauchery is never ending. The USA been dominated by Republican presidencies in the last fifty years, making the rich richer and the American people swindled. We demand and will get change!

The trouble that Republicans face is that by appeasing the FAR right... you alienate the rest of the country....
Bush is seeing that his meager 17% approval rating is all FAR right... if not for them, he'd have none.

Until Republicans learn moderation, nothing can be done for them.
Leave abortion and gay rights alone... it might win you the first election but it crucifies you in the long run...

The further back in history you go... the more republican bodies start surfacing... old ideals that America just doesn't see the value in anymore... for every Clinton there are two Nixons...

A Democratic victory in 2008 will the best thing that ever happened to the Republicans. If Hillary is elected President then she will become the worst thing this country has ever seen. Socialism is a failed system, and that's all the Democrats have. They can set up government programs to punish those who succeed while rewarding the losers of our society but it will not make America stronger. The result will be a resurgence in the Republican party and the near demise of Democrats.

No way. We're basically a 52% - 48% nation. Sometimes it swings this way, sometimes that way. It's been that way for a long time. And it will probably be that way for a long. Neither party or philosophy is in danger of extinction. Just lots more skirmishing around the 50 yard line.

If the Republicans have never been able to destroy the Democrats, what makes you think the Democrats will be able to destroy the Republicans? Keep in mind that the Dems only hold a very slight majority in Congress. The Republicans are still plenty popular when it comes to elections.

Don't worry... both the democratic party and the republican party are here to stay. Things go in cycles. If the dems are up now, just wait, and things will shift again. And again. They always do.

Happy to disappoint you . "Experts" have written off both parties on several occasions. They have always been wrong. The Republican Party is healthy.

I would say its not the Republican party that is the problem. I'd say its our president that is dragging down that party. The problem is that there wasn't a corplican (corporations party) so he picked Rep.
