After all, why celebrate a mistake that wasn't caught early enough?

Happy Mother's Day to all the real Mom's that love their children... even the ones that may not have been planned.

I know this is a fairly "tactless" question... but... I want to try and get people to think... perhaps make better choices...

And yes... I respect all mother.. even Pro-Choice mothers...

so Lola... we should keep our nose out of a husbands business if he chooses to murder his wife? Lets say he realized he made a bad choice and wanted to "terminate" the marraige.

And I have a life... thanks to my Mom who actually values life. I should say to you.... value life... it'll make you feel good.

Don't know. I think they would only celebrate for the kids they have, not the ones that got sucked down a sink.

Personally I am so blessed to have four wonderful children (that are now adults)! One is still at home, one is married and coming over for dinner, one lives in Tucson and the other is on a mission for our church in Montreal. The missionary is calling today & my oldest will call on another line at the same time. I get to talk to ALL my kids today!!!

Of course they do. You see, they are aware it's wrong to kill babies. They don't see it as killing babies. It's a logical disconnect. Like all of liberal thought and practices. They simply change a meaning of a word, or reword the problem and it becomes OK. Say Tax hikes for the rich instead of theft. It's also OK to say pro-choice instead of infanticide. by changing the wording, morality shifts. Moral wrongs become efforts to help. The road to hell is paved with good intentions and a little semantic fudging makes everything OK.

Pro choice doesn't mean you support abortion. I personally think abortion is a poor substitute for pre sex contraception but I won't make that decision for someone else. Remember...Pro-Choice. Think about it. You really don't care about people who are born into situations where they're unloved and unwanted. You only see your own perverted concept. You must be a Christian Fundamentalist.

Stupid question and you know the answer.

Pro choice doesn't mean you've had an abortion or even that you agree with it but it means that you keep your nose out of other peoples business and let them make their own life choices even if you don't agree with them.

Get yourself your own life and leave others to theirs.

Im not so nice when it comes to abortion moms. To me as well as Scripture, they are no different than the women who have their baby, suffocate it, and throw it in a dumpster.

The women Ive seen in the church that have had abortions walk around with guilt and pain. So ladies, unless you want your special day to be tainted with regret in the future and dont want to be accused of murder at the judgment, dont kill your infant!

First, let us call it what it is...

Abortion? No, even that is a euphemism coined to soften the reality.

Infanticide. That's better.

Now, the rephrased question:

Do people who support or commit infanticide celebrate Mother's Day?

Probably. I imagine they do not get the sick irony of it.

~100 years ago that would have been...

Women who choose to murder their own unborn babies should have a special day of their own. We can call it Murderer's Day instead of Mother's Day.

???

The people who advocate women's right to decide for themselves whether to give birth, and when, don't say that ALL pregnancies should be aborted.

No one says that.

Whoever told you that's what we think was lying to you.

If you really want people to rethink their ideas, you need to put some thought into yours.

If you don't even know what we think, you're in no position to say we're wrong.

BTW, if you want to make abortion rare, support sex education and easy availability of birth control.

There will always be women who abort their fetuses, but if unwanted pregnancy is rare, abortion will be even rarer.
