14-2?!? Nooo! Theres a better chance of the browns winning the superbowl then them having that good of a rec. They will NOT win the superbowl. There are too many good teams they will have to compete against. They have randy moss?? Big Deal. Hell just stand there durring runs. He wont help their team out. If the pass aint to him he dont play they will be able to double stallworth. Just trust me DONT Bet on the Patroits to win the superbowl. Playoffs. Yeah! but NOOOO superbowl

Not gonna happen.
At best, they’ll go 10-6.
They’ll go 3-3 in the division and possibly 2-4.
EVERYONE has got their number.
The Jets & Bills are improving. By season start one of them will be good enough to beat NE TWICE. AND if Miami gets anything resembling a running game; they’ll beat them at least once.
NE’s D will be had. The backups can’t do what the old men used to do and good running teams will have good games against them…SD; Pittsburgh; Indianapolis; The Jets and just about everyone else on their schedule this year is gonna make it very difficult for NE to win their division; let alone make it to the Super Bowl.
My thoughts is that NE will probably get a Wild Card and either the Jets or Bills will take the division.
And PLEASE. Cut out all that crap about how cool Tom Brady is.
The coolest QB I’ve ever seen in the pocket is Roger Staubach.
Tom Brady is no Roger Staubach.
And don’t get excited about Randy Moss and Dante Stallworth.
Moss is STILL a flake and Dante Stallworth should have stayed with NO. He didn’t do that much in Philly and they let him go.
Don’t go down with a sinking ship.

To sixteen and oh: How can you not see the patriots having a chance. All you talk about is Tom Brady getting injured. So I guess Peyton Manning is indestructable and will never get injured? Brady knows how to get out of trouble, and he played through injuries before. Patriots defense and offense will be in the Top 5 this year. Moss finnaly has a QB he can catch from. Stallworth and Welker are fine receivers. Thomas is a great linebacker and chances are that Meriweather will start. And if a rookie doesnt start for the first year he's a bust?

last year, even with injurys and a horrible reciving core, the patriots won the AFC east and made it to the AFC championship game. They are now have 3 elite and 3 quailty recivers, have depth at almost every position and make they defence younger and and faster, which will help against passing teams. 14-2? I'd put money on 15-1...They have 3 tough games all season, and 2 are at home during the winter months.

Sixteen and Oh, evidently you haven't thought about the the fact that injuries could affect the seasons of say ohh....just every other team in the league, especially at the QB position.

I don't suppouse you made any playoff predictions before this year's season based on "injuries that could happen" did you?

I'm not the gambling type, but the Patriots on paper have a real good shot to win it all on paper, but we'll see how the season plays out.

Nope, defitnly not. Yes the Pats are stacked, ever thought of injuries? If Brady goes down, the season goes down. On defense, yes they added Adalius Thomas and Brandon Merriweather, but Merriweather might not even start and if he does, there is a thing called a draft 'bust'. Thomas will help their LBs. But there always is the Indianapolis Colts. Yes the Colts lost several players and people think that hurt them. How? Rhodes is gone, but Addai can handle the load, especially with the threat of the long ball in the passing game. We lost Stokely. Great, now we have Anthony Gonzalez. We lost Cato June. OH WELL! He wasn't even that good. If he was, we woudln't have given up 180 every game on the ground. We lost Montae Reagor. He didnt even play half the season. With the Colts firepower still alive, there's always a chance.

The Patriots are favored to win it all this year but I do not see it happening. They stepped up their off season by getting randy moss but he is only person and he hasn't been that good every since he left the Vikings. Besides there are other AFC teams that have done really well this off season. You forget that they play in the AFC which is the toughest division.

i can see them winning it all, but not with that good of a record. The pats dont have the team to get a record like that. but brady can pull a win out of almost nothing, and thats what wins playoff games...

i see them with a 11-5 record

and i think itll be colts repeating or san diego winning it all this year myself, the colts have got the confidence to do it now that they have, and san diego is going to be an even better team than last year...

and really to those of you arguing about injuries, thats irrelevant, you base your predicitons off of the current team and just pray there are no injuries :P

No you really shouldn't. Glad you have that faith in them and glad you are smart enough not to claim 16-0. Still I think people will be in for a rude awaking when they realize Moss is washed up. I think they will learn eventually. People think you bring in a bunch of stars and it will make you great. Well let's see if they can WORK TOGETHER. That's why we play the game.
