I'm trying my hardest to fix a Photo DVD for my brothers graduation.I've searched and searched for a good photo dvd maker & I bought DVD-R discs but my computer won't recodnize them.My computer is a CD-Writer/DVD-ROM COMBO. So my question is Is it my computer is it the disc or what ?And do you have any suggestions on good Photo to DVD makers.THANKS!!

DVD-ROM = read-only

Sounds like you can only burn CDs on that drive.

An easy good program for creating photo-slideshows (with music and captions, if you want) is Microsoft PhotoStory. It's a free download at microsoft.com. You can save the slideshow to CD.

You need a good program. I use Roxio and Nero, but find Roxio to be a little easier to use. Good luck as this it very time consuming. If you have Windows XP, there is Movie Maker too, which I haven't used yet.
