if Y/A had age verifications to prevent these little babies from being on here and causing trouble. If only their parents knew this is what they do when they're grounded.

We have contacts and fans...we should be allowed to block users also, so don't see their Q's or A's. They could block us if they don't care for or opinions or answers

Yep, the so-called Y/A age verification is just keying in a birthdate. If "old enough", they're in. If "too young", it asks for a credit card number to verify age. That's it.
BUT, all they have to do is go back, input a year that makes them older, and they're in without parental approval or a credit card for age verification. That's why there are so many little ones on here. I wonder if they use as much energy studying.

I suggested this during the past. I change identities often and I never have a email address. The next thing you know people will be calling you a pedophile because somebodies kids are in your mail box, be careful.

I don't think it's just the younger people who totally act like children here. There are a few other "adults" who are pretty babyish around, I believe.

In my opinion ... those children who are coming to this site to ask certain questions do not feel comfortable asking their parents for advice so we give them advice. Usually to talk to their parents. So I see no problem with it. THIS I do have one heck of a problem with!

There are children and teens who are depressed that come here for help and both with issues. If they were to see this kind of behavior from people (ADULTS) that they are counting on ... think of how more depressed they could become. It is abuse of the system if you ask me!

i had suggested an adult answers..[with no report button]maybe an ignore button,like other sites,so we'd just ignore their answers or ques!!
maybe we should go on the forum with this ques...if anybody really reads it!
sure children will probably go there too,but i don't think that WE are responsible for other people's children..their parents are responsible for them!!!

They do now. You have to provide a credit card # to verify you're an adult.
