Have they ever gone to the funeral of any U.S. troop who has died in this war?

I have absolutely idea what Catherine means by 'veiled' threats. The question was not a threat. It was a legitimate question.

Barbara (Paris Hilton) Bush and Jenna (Paris Hilton) Bush would probably just turn their blank faces to the journalist as say "War? What war?)

These are two of the dumbest blondes I have ever seen.

I'm not sure about that... it would be interesting to know...

But I don't think it would be good for Bush no matter what they said so that's why it's not happening...

The media might also not want to encourage the Bush Monarchy to continue in American politics. As it stands, there are 3 Bush's in government positions, 2 in high profile media jobs... 1 in a religious position of power...

They get that way by taking advantage of anonymity when it suits them.

Come to think of it... Clinton's family was FAR more politically active then Bush's... maybe that is just Bush's "family values" in action...
I think I saw Laura doing a "more you know" type PSA on hurricane preparedness - but thats about it.

Nancy Reagan never really expressed an opinion until after her husband died - and then it was even in support of democrats!

Yes. Oh you mean the War Bush started by himself?
I still get confused. Was that before or after ALL the Democrats, Republicans, and Independants "Voted for it before they voted against it"?
Ask a real question.....

What did Clinton's daughter have to say about him cheating on her Mother, selling secrets to the Chinese, and North Koreans, Allowing the Chinese into the WTO (For some measily campaign money), even though they still violate every child labor law there is?
Oh, and the truly despicable one, "Daddy, when you had Osama Bend Over, the Man you gave speaches about being a Terrorist bent on killing Americans, having WMD's and wholesales slaughter, why did you let him go so he could destroy the World Trade Center, and Murder almost 3,000 Americans Civilians, (More than Pearl Harbor) ? "Why Daddy"? "Because then none of this would have happened"?

While their opinion, for some reason, may seem interesting to you, it has nothing to do with anything.

Why do you think their opinion would make any difference? They are just 2 young women and entitled to their own opinions, which would carry no more weight than any other person.

They are not political appointees so unless they wanted to go to a funeral, there would be no requirement for them to do so and nothing wrong if they never did.

Interviewers covering such topics would normally have the decency not to try to meddle in such areas and they should be left alone concerning such topics unless they themselves bring it up.

Who cares what they think?? Just like Sean Penn, BABA, Michael Moore and all the other famous people, who gives a crap what they think. What do you think? do you have the ability to form your own opinion?

I don’t think it would necessarily be unfair to ask them since they were both used in their father’s campaign. Nevertheless, their opinions are basically irrelevant and unless they voluntarily offer any, no one should be pressing them for it.

Seriously, these questions always sadden me. Why are we ranting on kids for something their parents did? Let's focus our anger on the people who actually caused this mess.

Good grief...... don't you people have anything better to do than to rag on the Bush family and try to catch them in a "gotcha"

Even when they are not out boozing (did you think it stopped when they became legal?) Bush doesn't allow the media access to them.
