This is my first mother's day and I have to say so far it's been a total s**t can. Is this what I can expect from now on?

By the way, this has nothing to do with my little angel of a daughter. Of course she has no idea it's a special day. She showers me with giggles and wet sloppy kisses no matter the date! This has to do with my thoughtless husband who has been p.o.'ed at me for most of the day for something I already apologized for over and over...and who made himself a nice lunch and didn't offer me anything...and who is snoozing on the sofa while I'm doing dishes and laundry. :)

my mom always says her mothers day was horrible too i think it problelly will be sry hun....let me guess kids fighting, didn't get to sleep in no breakfast in bed, late to something, house a mess, every single year it's the same BAD mothers day for my mom being 13 the oldest i try so hard to make it good and then somehow it all gets scewed up 4 her even if it's not are faults!!!!

I am so sorry. I hope things change for you and you have a real happy one. Not all Mother's day are like that! I feel so bad for you. If I was there I would give you a bouquet of flowers. So so sorry.

Nope, they get better. It's fun when your child gets big enough to pick you a bouquet of flowers and make you a card.

well.. its just your first...then u have to wait for your child to get older and actually know what that day stands for...he or she loves you right now. but just doesnt have a 5-9 job to get u a gift.. u get hugs and kisses instead :D
