You need to use a tampon with an applicator, you know once the two parts of the tube meet that its inserted enough for it not to fall out.

Definitely try a different kind.
Get the Tampons with the applicators. When you put the tampon in...you put the appicator half way into yourself and then push the other side of the applicator so the tampon goes further inside you. Then pull the applicator out and you should just have a string there. You can also read the little instructions in the box, most have a picture of where and how the tampon is going in.
Try buying the variety pack of tampons as well so you have multiple choices.
If your still having trouble, just switch to pads because some women do have issues with tampons, not alot but some.
Good Luck.

it's always better to have one fall out than get stuck in. (it would turn green and you'd get sick). Still, Try anything: try to adjust the way you walk and the way you stand , just a little bit. Try to lighten the tampon by removing some of the heavy inner material or rough up the surface a little, TRY WETTING the ends a little bit to get them expanded a little.
This is all assuming you are not using regular or junior.
Before you try something avante garde like doubling up on them, lol, consider the pad. You gotta admit they have some decent features. If you absolutely must wear a thong, just stay home a coupla days and relax with a pad instead.

There is a type of OB brand tampon that expands with more shape than a number of other brands (rather than expanding in a cylindrical shape). This may be an option for you. Otherwise if you are using a regular/slender sized tampon, you may want to consider a Super sized tampon.

I once had that problem and changed to Tampex tampons. Also you need to put the applicator about one to one and a half inch in to the vagina before pushing the applicator up. This will get the tampon in mid range and it will stay in, but make sure that you have the string assessable. Hope this helps.

If it's falling out, that means you haven't put it in far enough. You should put the tampon in all the way until your fingers touch your vagina or up to the grooves on the applicator. Read the instructions more or just stick to pads.

It might be that it's not in deep enough...try getting a smaller one and make sure that kind of tampon is to your flow
Good luck.

This seems like a strange problem. Try using pads until you can consult your doctor.. it might be some body problems.

they are all pretty much the same. perhaps you need to read the directions carefully, because i don't think you are inserting it correctly.
try "playtex" ( the ones in the pink box ), i think you will find them to be more comfortable.
