The guy is getting old and he's afraid of it... he's got the money and from what I can tell on his show, he seems fairly bored.
I mean, they've had a ton of "farewell" tours, how many more times can they say farewell? He's been helping his kid in his band but only so much to do there without being a nuisance.
I thought it was pretty crazy too.

All celebraties his age have plastic surgery. It makes them more appealing to the public eye, besides it made him look better.
