Ok, first is it a girl or boy hamster? If its a girl, it could be that time of the month, if a boy, obviously not.
Youre going to need to call your vet, and ask them either way and they are going to have some questions for you so think about the answers. Did the pet fall, or get injured? Is it laying around, not doing anything, acting sick? Or is it acting normal? How long has this been going on? How old is your pet? Have you changed the pets food recently?
These are all questions they may have for you, and try not to panic, or feel bad for calling, they get alot of calls everyday from pet owners and have heard it all before. The people who work with vets are all animal lovers like yourself and will try their hardest to help your pet. You may have to take your pet in to see the vet, so be prepared for that as well.
Good luck, for both of you.

I have no idea what's wrong, but I do suggest that you take your hamster to the vet just incase.

if it is a girl, it is probably just her period- yes, hampsters have them to. But i would take it to the vet anyway, even if it is a girl
