I own some devil's ivy, which is really easy to grow, even from just cuttings. Draceana can be pretty easy to grow, if you take care of it. If you have low humidity in your house, it's best to keep Draceana's in the bathroom, so when you shower the humidity builds up for the plants.

Kalanchoe is pretty low maintenance, and it has nice red flowers. However, it's sorta small. Bamboo only requires water and light, so that's a plus.
