if your talking a dt or a wr its about 2.5 to 3 percent oil.. if your talking a yz, then the manual says 3 percent put most people put in 2.5 percent.. it depends on the driving you do... a lot of fast hard driving, use 3 percent.. easy driving 2.5 percent.. i would never put less than 2.5 percent in my 2 stroke..

Yes, 2 cycle and 2 stroke are the same thing. check to see if your dirtbike has a 2 stroke oil injector, most modern 2 stroke bikes have a resevoir of 2 stroke oil that is automatically injected into the carbs and cylinders eliminating the need to mix it yourself with each fill up of your gas tank.

It depends on what type of oil you are using. The ratios vary from maker to maker and between synthetic or organic.
There are ratio suggestions on the bottle start on the rich end and lean it down untill it runs nice and the plug is a nice medium brown color.
