We live together for about a year and a half now and I do not know why he wont divorce her. He gives me fifty million excuses but I feel he is jerking my chain. I love him but I want to get married and we cant. What should I do?!

Yes his wife knows about me. Her children come here to visit us and my son has also spent time at her house when she lived in the same state. I swear I am not a home wrecker. They had been split up already when me and him started dating. Honestly I never thought it would go this far. Now years later I am stuck! I do not think he loves her, correction, in love with her but there is a reason he wont do it. He is six years my elder and has three more kids than me. All of this was absolete when our love was good. Now I think I am just fed up and all of those things matter. Maybe I was just blind by love, but I am in a hole and I dont know how to save myself the best way possible. These things sometimes do work and sometimes dont. I just dont know if it is all in vain. I know I could just leave but yall, I love this man. Its is not like he sees her (unless we go down there together and visit) and he is very good to me. Until it comes to this issue.

It's time to move on, Sister. My ex did that for 5.5 years and I finally tired of it. Now I am married to a man that is completely mine. :O)

I would say your instinct is telling you what to do. It sounds as if he want to have his cake and eat it too, it makes no since why he won't divorce his wife if you two have lived together for a year and a half, thats way more time than it should have taken him to go through with a divorce. I also feel he is jerking your chain, ignorance is no excuse, so I would give him an ultimatum to divorce her, or you will have to end it, because if he doesn't, he obviously doesn't want to marry you.

Sorry, but that's the price you pay, when you play. You should have never gotten with a married man. He's not going to leave his wife, he has no intention of geting married to you. Why would he. He's got the best of both worlds now. Good luck!

Stop that relationship if that is the case...you dont deserve to still cling on him...Just remember, he is already married and has a family to protect and cared for...that would be his reason why he cant divorce her.

Can't is the key word....Won't is a given. Walk away and never look back, this is a lot of things but love it is not and sadly it never will be.

You and him are wrong. He is married and cheating and you are helping him do that. He apparently doesn't love you if he doens't want to be with ONLY you. You both need to cut eachother loose and you need to find someone single.
