You have the whole thing backwards. The climate was not created to suit us. We and all living things on earth evolved to survive in the climatic niches that exist on earth. Perhaps a different form of life would evolve on a planet with an altogether different climatic pattern (the gas giants for instance) and eventually become smart enough to wonder what creates the perfect 30 atmospheres of pressure and 80% helium that they consider hospitable!
