I'm trying to wash dress shirts, and on the label it says to wash them in luke warm water. The thing is that I only have Tide Cold Water (detergent specifically designed to wash clothes in cold water).

My question is, will the shirts get cleaned? And more importantly, would they be destroyed?

Note: I can't go out to get new detergent. And the shirts range through most colours and are mostly polyester/cotton blends.

They will be fine - if you are still unsure then wash a test piece first......shouldn't be a problem and they will be clean.
