You can get more space on the hard drive by using Disk Cleanup under all programs.
Empty the recycle bin, temp internet files folder, and parts of indexing service. In the Run box type %temp% to delete all temp files. Also you can compress old files, remove programs and components in the add/remove programs part of control panel, and remove all but the last system restore points.

The amount of space your hard drive contains is what it is.

You can only buy a larger HD, or free up that which you have.

- Run Disk Cleanup, Scandisk, Defrag regularly - about every two weeks.

- You will have to decide what is important to you and delete that which you can live without, or, copy some of it to external storage - like an external HD or flashdrive(s).

You can increase the amount of available space on the hard drive by deleting old, unwanted files.
Under accessories/system tools on your start menu use the Windows disk cleanup tool. It will give you several options for cleaning up unneeded files on your hard drive without messing up its performance.
