What do you lack desire for?

Our culture often focuses on our desires -- our wants. What are some of the things that you lack desire for and why?

Interesting question. Well, I don't desire to be famous or sociable with most people. I can't relate to most people and I'm not going to compromise who I am in order to fit most people's perceptions.

I lack a desire for sex or to socialize. I have no desire to be fashionable and no desire to agree with people just to be mainstream. Right now I have no desire to get a job but I also have no desire to starve. Oh well.

Desire is an interesting concept because people can desire
things which aren't desirable. Most things which fall into
the fore mentioned category are things which are impulsive;
impulsive desire works against rational desire. Impulse
is more a reflex than a consideration. I lack desire for
impulse, not because I don't desire it, but because the
risk attached is not desirable.

I don't desire hate or negativity that brings so many people down;

I don't have a desire to tear down people;

I don't desire disease, or war;

I don't have a desire to fight with anyone, or be confrontational like so many people are today;

I don't desire any of these things because they give off bad vibes and negative energy that could really bring a person down.

I've never had the desire to venture out into the whole clubbing/partying scene. To me there are better ways to spend your time and have fun without looking like an a*s*s*. I've also never had the desire to be a mindless clone.I wear what I want to wear, and think the way I want to think regardless of whether it's in style or not.

I lack desire for war, for fighting, so many people are all about the soldiers going to war to do us better. Look at how many people have died, in these Countries and from these Countries. I wish there was no such thing as the Holiday remembrance day, what I mean is I wish the word war did not exist. Some act like like it is a football, Hockey game, so many deaths and for what power.

I lack the desire to work. All things considered, I'd rather be having fun every day of my life or learning something new. Being a slave to a mortgage really blows.
