The best work truck on the road is the Ford F-150. I don't care what anyone says here, the proof is in the pudding. The F-150 has proven itself time and time again as a powerful, reliable, and cost efficient workhorse. Look at most fleet work trucks used by companies, cities, businesses, and many others. 95% or more of them are Ford F-150's or F Series heavy trucks. If not an F-150, the F Series trucks are the best things on the road.

Depends on what you want to do with it. Ford F series I think by far the best work trucks out there. I have several trucks (Nissan, Toyota, Ford). Nissans and Toyotas are good trucks and will last at least 200,000miles. But I love my F-150 XLT 4x4. It's a great workhorse. I'm looking to add a 250 or 350 to my fleet because I need to haul lot of weight in my trailer.
Depending on which F150 you get there are other trucks that's stronger (ie: Silverado, Titan). But if you're going to use it for lot of hauling and as a work truck I'd stick with a F series.

The F-150 is a good truck. That being said I recommend that you look at the Dodge Ram 1500, my 1500 has 235,000 miles on it and is still going strong. I hang Wall Paper for a living and tow a trailer to all my job sites. My 1500 has never broken down (maintenance is always done on time). I also have friends that drive the F-150 that love their truck. Just research the different trucks and drive them to see which one that will best suit you. I hope this helped.

it all depends on what you would like out of a truck. i, my self would rather have something made by mopar cause there reliable. if you want to hold alot of weight for a half ton i would get a f150. comfort and not as much weight, but also really strong id say chevy 1500. chevy work trucks are good cause if they break and they probley will, then everything will be cheaper then if you went with anyother. the new toyota tundra is nice and very strong but very costly. its all on how much you want to spend and what you want out of it. im not a chevy guy but for a business that would be a good choice for repair cost and they'll get the job done.

If you want a ford and you need to tow or haul heavy loads you may want to look at the F-250 Super Duty. If you are not doing any of the above, a F-150 will be just fine. You may also want to look at a GMC.
