I have noticed some people ask for you to star a question but I don't understand why. I checked the guidelines and I can't find anything to explain it.

if the person finds the question useful,funny and/or lkies the question then i star it .same as the answers. im a smart as??? here the realy answer Why should I star a question?

I only star a question when i like it,i dont think people should just ask for stars,its a bit cheeky.
