I mean of the good ol' times. I can't stop thinking about how I wish I could go back revisit those times. I can't take the fact that all it is a good time and that's that.

You could also say that "I won't stop thinking about". Thinking is a choice. We can do other things in addition to thinking.

Living in the past is not living. The desire or longing for what once was closes you down from what is now and what could be.

You could ask "why do I remind myself about the past?"

The past is static and the future is full of opportunities.
Memory of the past allows us to consider the future.
In my opinion, it is always possible to improve on
the past because the past is well-defined. I think
the nature of this question is considering the element
of surprise. If an individual experiences some situation
in which surprise occurs and has a desirable outcome
then sometimes it is the surprise which is sought after
more than the actual situation. However, if the individual
has memory of the situation then it isn't surprising, and
that in my opinion is where confusion sets in. If the
individual attempts to recreate an exact replica of
the situation and succeeds then the same set of
outcomes are probably more likely to follow, but
if it is surprise that the individual is seeking then
creating an exact replica creates the least chance
for the opportunity to be surprised. Instead the
individual might try new experiences with similar
potential for the element of surprise. For example,
if the individual experienced the desirable element
of surprise at a party then the individual might try
new experiences with some of the people who
were present at the surprising party.

Make a scrapbook. Write a book of creative non fiction that speaks to all those good days that you would like to revisit. Write a poem. Call old friends. Go for a walk in the fresh air. Get out and make some new friends and new memories.
