On the 13th of May in 1917 in Coba de Iria near Fatima Portugal, three peasant children reported seeing the Blessed Virgin Mary. She appeared to them on the 13th of the next five months as well. On the appearance of the 13th of October a miracle occurred for all to see; it had been raining and the rain stopped and the "sun danced" by approaching the earth and moving up and down and to the sides. Also, when the sun stopped moving the thousands of pilgrims who were soaked and the muddy ground were dried up.
