My mum was supposed to leave on vacation on Friday, then Saturday, then today and is still here so I need a present for her and a present fast. I can draw very well and I am fairly crafty but this is all played out already. I mean I gave her a scarf for her birthday last month and a painting some years ago and if she is taking off then what would she do with that sort of thing anyway? What to do?

This is bad, but ... last year, I proposed to my girlfriend immediately before Mother's Day. I was so wrapped up in that (you know how it is, you want it to go "just right" and all) that I didn't look five days after D-Day on the calendar.
The next day, when I remembered, I whipped out my cell phone and called a florist in my hometown. Five minutes later, a bouquet of flowers was scheduled to arrive at my mom's front door on Saturday morning.

Or you could write her a letter telling her how much you appreciate her, or a poem.

You could always make her breakfast and do whatever it is that she needs to do today .That would be greatfully appreciated.
