swimming pool black algae?

I am having a very hard time removing "Black Algae" from our pool. What is the best way to get it gone!!! Oh yeah, the pool is made of white plaster.

Algecide and scrubbing with a stiff brush. You may have to get in the pool and scrub it underwater (children are GREAT for this chore!!!). Check with your local pool store and see what the latest chemical algecide is to remove it, they work pretty well but scrubbing will speed up the process.
