loving America and loving the government? If I hate the governemt, does that mean I hate America? Is it possible that since I love America, (and my God-given liberties), I have to love teh government, too? Hmmm....

Are you referring to our system of government or the current administration? By loving the United States you are by inference saying you love our system of government. That however does not mean you have to love the current administration or any single elected official. There are many elected officials that I consider unfit for office and yet I consider myself a true American patriot.

If there is a Clinton in the White House it is your Patriotic Duty to hate your government and investigate everything that happens in his pants.
If there is a Republican in office, then the White House is an extension of God & Country, inc.

Yes, there's a difference. You don't have to love your government (many of us don't no matter who's running it) but that shouldn't influence how you feel about your country or the ideals it is supposed to stand for.

Yes...there's a lot of difference between America and American Govt....the latter had its head in the sand, refusing to listen to what America is saying....ppl. all over the world are pissed-off with the US govt. but not with the American people.
