Rearranging the face of the globe would be important only so that we could move regional local geographic locations around. Thanks to the British and imperialists who carved up the Middle East, Asia and Africa into countries that placed enemies side by side we have a world were there is constant conflict because the goddamn imperialists put enemies together so they would be so busy fighting each other they would not fight their imperialist controllers like Britain. I would move Israel away from the Middle East and into Europe doing away with the biggest problem in the middle east thanks to Britain we had a Jewish country smack in the middle and surrounded by Muslim countries who want nothing more than the destruction of Israel and Israel hates the Middle East as well and so guess what they have been fighting for years. The next thing would be to rearrange Africa so that the major ethnic groups would be part of the same country instead of enemy tribes and ethnic groups that have hated and been fighting each other for hundreds of years are not right next to each other. Look at Darfur what do you think will happen when you put Arab Africans and non Arab Africans together and they both claim the same land you get genocide, warfare and poverty. Besides that I think the world is pretty nice the way it is I mean the shape of the world and the globe is nice so that in and of itself should not be changed but we need some major rearrangements in the Middle East and especially Africa so we wouldn't have most of the problems we have in those regions of the world today.

The problem with the globe today is it is full of artificially drawn boards that have no respect for the cultures, races or anything except political/economic reasons. Peoples and cultures are artificially separated from each other because of these imaginary lines. Whole expended families have been arbitrarily cast into two separate countries. In other cases whole cultures have been disrupted by dumping people from all over the globe into an area they were not born in.

The whole idea of separate countries and extremist nationalism and ownership over a piece of the Earth has caused every war there has ever been.

What if the idea that no one owns the land, no has dominion over any part of it and we are all responsible for it's care and protection was adopted? (similar to many aboriginal belief systems)

Then there would be nothing to fight over, nothing to cause extremist nationalism or nationalistic ego-centrism. We would all own all the land of the Earth and be stewards of it.

Then the world would truly be at peace and harmonious. This of course would require a dramatic shift in the beliefs of most of the peoples in the world but it's long over due.

We have been trying to make the world function as it is for thousands of years and guess what it isn't working and getting worse by the day!

It's time for real change on a global scale and a dramatic shift not just band aid solutions that don't work!

I think I would move some of the countries that dislike each other so much.. a little further apart from each other so that there might not be so much fighting..

I thought about suggesting moving some countries that are close friends closer together.. but then I realized that would be a bad idea.. because .. being too close.. they might stop being friends ;)

I would dig a 5 mile deep and 5 mile wide trench along each political/national boundary and fill it with water.
