Drive almost 19 miles, one way by myself, with the music turned up real loud to drown out the rest of the world.
I live in South Africa, public transport is downright dangerous. Do not use trains unless you want something bad to happen to you. Bad, really, really, really bad. "Safer" to use a bus, but then I would have to leave home at about 4:30am to get to work at about 7am and that would then include having to take a bus into the city and then another to work. Oh and I should mention that I will only get home at about 6pm using the bus. Minibus taxis, well, I won't even go there! Don't make me feel guilty about using my car...

I drive. There is no public transportation available to my work from my home and I go in too early to ride with anyone.

I walk and I can get there under an hour. I think we should look long and hard at our contribution to global warming as a result of our love affair with the car which requires carbon based energy to run.

I drive to work by myself, 17 miles, one way. I have thought about carpooling. However, I feel more comfortable moving to my own schedule.

I drive. I live a goodly distance from my employment, and I'm on call. I also live in the opposite direction of most of my co-workers.
