my daughter left her purse open, and he went for whatever he could get. Will the gum cause a blockage???? i'm freaked out by this!

That's kind of a 50/50 thing. It probably should be ok. What you really want to watch is they they never eat any plastic film.

I'd recommend just watching how it eats. If it starts going off its feed then take it to the vet, otherwise it should be fine. The rabbit going off its feed will be the first sign that something is wrong. If it doesn't go off its feed any in the next week (especially the next day or two), then I'd think you don't have to worry anymore.

I once had a bunny and the little guy ate everything. He even ate through the metal fence in the backyard and still he lived.

So I think you should calm down but keep an eye out just to be on the safe side. Or you could call a vet office and ask them.

It's fine. It's probably not the best thing, but he won't die. My hamster ate an entire stick of gum one time... wrapper and all. She was fine so I think the bunny will be too. He might have some foil in his poop for a while, though.

The gum might not but the paper might. you might take it to a vet. have it checked.
