i just defeated the first gym boss in pokemon diamond now what?

i know i suppose to go to Eterna city but you need a bike what is the other route you can take pleases give me good directions!

Go back to Jublife City, teach one of your Pokemon Rock Smash(You can use it now that you have beaten the first Gym Leader), go to Route 204 and at the end of it you should find a place called Ravaged Path. With Rock Smash, smash the rocks on the right side of the path(You won't be able to use HM03 Surf until you have beaten the 5th Leader Fantina and it's all water on the left that you can't cross without Surf) and you will end up in Floroma Town which you will need to travel to reach Eterna City anyway. Unfortunutely, two members of the evil team in Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, called Team Galactic, are blocking the bridge that leads to Eterna Forest, which in turn leads to Eterna City. However, they will clear once you have beaten the first of Team Galactic's Commaders, who's name is Mars. WARNING: She has a Level 16 Pokemon called Purugly that can dish a LOT of damage! Mars will use it last in her battle with you. Then after that, go on Route 205 via the bridge those Grunts used to block. You should find Eterna Forest at the end of the route(Think of Petalburgh Forest from Ruby and Saphirre; it will look like a huge bunch of trees when you get there) You there will help a girl named Cheryl get through the forest. That will mean quite a first for you: Wild Pokemon Double Battles! She has a Level 15 Chansey and will heal your Pokemon completely after each battle. After you two part at the end of Eterna Forest, you should exit yourself and proceed east. Going this way, you should end up in Eterna City.
