You bet. She's just recovering from an op she had a couple of days ago. I'm on the other side of the planet so calling her was the most important thing to do on this day of all days.

Great post. Sorry about your mom, I lost mine also three and half years ago. I'll probably spend half the day bawling. I'd also like to appeal to people to cherish their mothers and not take them for granted.

got the phone but cant call her...got a card but cant send her one...my mom die when im only 14 now im 26..i even dont have mother-in-law to give or wish anything except i come and visit their cemetry.no foster family also..

No, my mother's passed away. And I didn't call her much when she was alive either. She never really cared if I called or not.
