It's not that I don't believe YOU, it's just that I don't believe THEM!
If they still have not worked out the human brain, how can they create something to exceed its capabilities?

Perhaps the worst prediction made yet! Perhaps you went to one of those fake "gypsy fortunare"? Wot, did you look through a crystal ball?
This is indeed false information because computers will never exceed our capabilities. And if they do, which I'm 99.999999999% sure they won't, they wont exeed ALL our capabilities. Also it depends on wot humans do later on. But of course the computers won't have a soul. Unless domeone decides to give them one -_-.
Perhaps I'll Go Throrough on this later :).

Ummm, in case you haven't noticed, we already have $300 computers that exceed the capabilities of some people's brains. Not all brains work as well as others, and so far, my computer has been extremely reliable.

yes, this is a scary thought. Although I don't think it's possible, since the full capacity and capabilities of the human brain have never been completely discovered or disclosed.

No, it may exceed the studied capacities of the human brain, but our brains have so much more to them than a computer will ever be able to grasp. Think about it - Einstein only used 11% of his brain!

No science theory is absolute & complete & there are always rooms for further improvements based on new findings & discoveries & better analysis. That is just a human effort, not of God. It may be correct but more correct or wrong in future. The foundation of Science is based on practical observations , not on prejudices, beliefs & blind faith on what anyone says. every theory is subject to scrutiny & ratification by practical observations.

Yes, they could take over the world. You know those movies.
It might be helpful though, something to look into buying in the future if they aren't evil or have a taste for human flesh.

Nah, not so much.... Most exceed my capabilities already... and s'long as we keep upping the ante... there will always be some brain somewhere ready to challenge it... Otherwise we'd just become complacent .... more so than we already are.

No. What scares me is that today, the average cellphone exceeds the capabilities of most peoples' brains.

Is that scary? No, not in the least. That is wonderful and I am anxiously awaiting for that. I'd love to see that in my lifetime. The possible magnitude of applications boggles my mind. What an exciting time that will be.
