She is very much alive, just not in the flesh anymore.
Her soul lives on...just on a different plane.

First of all i want to say that i am so sorry to hear about your loss. I was kind of thinking the same thing you were last week when i lost my grandmother. Sometimes i would be really really upset, and crying, and then at other times when everybody else was crying, I was OK. It was weird because i felt like i should be feeling really bad because everybody else was, but i just didn't. To answer your question I think that its normal. You don't have to miss that person every day as long as you don't forget them and how much you love them.

Oh I am so sorry for you and the loss of your mom. I dread the thought of someday losing mine. It's ok to feel that she's still with you and long as you know in reality, that she has passed on. You are a part of your mom, and she will always be in your heart and your mind. I believe in the afterlife, and believe me, she is always with you. Live your life and make her proud, because I'm sure that's what she would have wanted for you. *hugs*

Ignore Jane Doe, she obviously has 0% sensetivity.
It is normal that you want your mum to still be alive, but it seems like you are holding on too tightly and haven't properly grieved for your mum's death.
You may need to see a councilor who can listen to what your'e going through and give you tips on getting through your mothers passing.
She will always be in your heart, she is literally a part of you.

If it's not an everyday, all of the time thing it's OK.
My mom died almost 2 years ago and recently I went to the phone to call her.... some habits and ways of thinking don't go away easily.

I believe that energy goes on forever. I believe that of my loved ones that have died. So they do exist and they are with you. As in life if you think about her she may come to you.
It is normal and healthy to think that energy does not disappear in death, so it is normal to feel good about your mom giving you advice as she would. Or whatever she did when she was in her earthly body.
She would love to cheer you on and help you succeed.

I think it is normal coz i have the same feelings with my dad, he passed away 5 years ago, and yet feel his touches, his breaths, his voice is always in my ears.

SHE IS STILL ALIVE! You just can't see her because her spirit is no longer in human form! She is in heaven! Human beings are spirits trapped in human bodies. When our body dies our spirit does not die! Be happy that your Mom is still communicating with you from heaven! She wants you to be happy because you are going to see her again!

You still haven't accepted the fact that your mom is gone. That's why you still think & even feel that she's still alive.

what you are feeling is perfectly normal...
for those of us who have lost moms...
remember..in our hearts they are alive...
all their comforting words...wisdom and love..we carry with us forever.
i lost my mom in 2001..i miss her everyday..but i do feel that when i need a hug the most..she's right there giving me one.
