What about schools? Where it is ok to teach Muslim teachings under the aspect of culture, but not about, say, Jesus, because of religious views?

YES, they have.

They want to remove what teaches truth, honesty and true LIBERTY,and JUSTICE FOR ALL. This refers to victims getting justice and the criminal's getting a fair trail.

Our LAWS are based on the Ten Commandments of Moses.
If they can remove GOD from the public eyes, and ears, then they can change a Moral Nation.

I don't support abortion, I support the right TO LIFE. GOD created and blessed that life

I encourage my children to HONOR THEIR MOTHER AND
FATHER. At ALL times. But since the system took the RIGHTS of prayer from schools and A Creator, they stolen the rights of Children from choosing to believe or disbelieve for themselves.
And they wonder why there is so much crime and violence in our schools today. Why children turn against their parents teaching and leave confusion in its place.

Even the schools teach a selfish doctoring. Example, my youngest son's teacher tells me in front of him " I believe he is incapable of learning, Yet at home he does very well. She will tell him " Oh I understand honey, just try answer 3 of the questions. (while the rest of the class has to do the whole paper)," Your mom shouldn't get upset with your grade card, she should understand. Leaving him with the impression he is stupid,so he gives her what she expects of him,and started fighting us at home, "but my teacher said, but my teacher said.

This is just a small sample of how removing the Ten Commandments gives them more control over our children first. Remember today's children are tomorrow's leaders.

The Constitution clearly says that only Congress is limited by the part of the first amendment that concerns religion. Read the 10th amendment and you will see that the federal government only has the powers enumerated to it by the Constitution, so every time a federal court orders any public institution other than Congress to take down the 10 Commandments the court is violating the constitution.
The lesson to be learned is when our courts refuse to honor the Constitution every judge swears to uphold it does not matter what the constitution or any book of law says. The judges want to be seen as the ultimate authority and are trying to ban all religious displays because the judges see such displays as a reminder of an authority higher than any human judge.
Read the Declaration of Independence and you will see that the people have the right to overthrow a government that refuses to recognize the God given rights of the people...

Yes and No. Yes because of the respecting an establishment of religion, and prohibiting the free exercise thereof. No because they aren't abridging the freedom of speech. You can go and say whatever you want in public places.

The Constitution does not mandate a separation of church and state, and I challenge anyone who says it does to point to the part of the Constitution they are "quoting".
The asker of this question accurately quoted the only reference to religion in the Constitution, and anyone who can read will see that separation of church ans state is not there. What is there is a limitation on Congress and no other part of government at any level. If a judge, mayor, county commissioner, or anyone other than a Congressman wants to post any religious material he is free to do so according to the Constitution. If an elected official chooses to post the 10 Commandments the people are free to register their support of lack of support for that official at election time.

I believe it has. This country was founded on freedoms including religion. I find it interesting that we have to be politically correct towards non christian religions, but Christians are looked down upon at every turn by the "politically correct". I have a lawyer friend that has a Bible quote above the door of his business. He was ordered by the local law makers to remove it. He is going to court to fight for his rights and I don't blame him.

My tax dollars should not pay to have the ten commandments erected, nor should I walk into a government building to see a set of religious "laws" that are not the laws of the land.

Two of the ten are actual laws.

If you disagree, then move to a country where religion and government are one, like Iran or Saudi Arabia.

Technically we have not violated this amendment but what we HAVE done is TAKEN ONE MORE CHRISTIAN TEACHING AWAY FROM OUR PUBLIC PLACES UNDER THE GUISE OF SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE (which is not in the constitution to start with) This can do ABSOLUTELY NO GOOD and can do irreparable harm.

Put the 10 commandments anywhere you want, just as long as the governments not paying for it or paying for the place it is being placed...simple enough, not too difficult to understand
