Last week, My husband and I are both legally blind, last week while sitting on our small porch in our rural community, we walked through the grass taking off our shoes, holding hands savoring the early mornings smells of spring, and feeling the moist grass under our bare feet. We lavished in the warmth of the sun against our faces, and reminisced of younger days, we are now 58 and 61 ears young..

OH MAN........that's a good question. It's been forever! I live in South Texas now, and the grass is basically a few scattered green weeds here and there. Besides there are chiggers in the grass so it's impossible to walk in it. You just reminded me of a good old feeling that I miss!!!!

Well, the other day my brother mowed the back yard so I went and had a gander after he'd finished. I was shoeless so this obviously involved me walking bare foot on the grass.

edging onto the bare feet add moments of tender touches of
ecstasy.

just yesterday....I had washed a load of laundry and decided that it was too pretty a day to use the dryer...so I walked barefooted out to the clothesline and hung them out. Took the time while outdoors to walk around my yard and just enjoy the great outdoors. Got to remember though to watch for those bees...
