OMG, are you kidding me?

I stayed a virgin for a very long time. I thought I was going to marry the guy I "lost" it to.

Do you know how ridiculed I was for that? It was hard for me to keep boyfriends...they would go someplace else to "get it".

I think it is a worthy goal, but with people marrying later and later in order to find the "one" is it realistic to be a virgin when married? I didn't marry until I was 27, and had I stuck to my guns I would have waited until I was 30. I would have been able to make a more mature choice on who I wanted to spend the rest of my life with.

I don't think sleeping around is an option...but for goodness sake! A virgin until late 20's early 30's? That is a tall order.

It was proved medically that girls can loose their virginity also due to some accidents or heavy works or also due to lot of sports. This has changed thinking of people now. Besides the modern world has gone very far. Girls and boys at the age of 13 are having sex, so where is the question of virginity now. I think in western world it is not given any importance , but in Asian world , still some countries give importance to this, Personally I feel this should not be given any importance. virgin or not virgin , if a girl is faithful after marriage, she should be respected.

I suppose there are still some out there. Some men are insecure about it. Personally I would be a little shaky about it at first but it's one the you love. We should forget about the past and stick to the present and future. But it is good to care how the person's sexual life is. If they have sex with many different men then the man should care about marrying them. Basically, some men care, some don't. It shouldn't be an issue.

I think in the minds of men they all wish that they had done what their parents had done back in the day and I mean that about people are in their 30's and 40's now. Their parents were more conservative about sex. They grew up on the logic that it was sacred and only in marraige. A lot of people, when they get married, wish they would have made the right choice and stayed a virgin for their partner. But a lot of people stay in some relationships for so long they assume they will marry that person and then heartbreak happens until they find their soulmate.

It's possible to have bleeding from just a tear and not a complete break. My wife and I were both virgins and it didn't matter much to me. We went through the whole event together and that's something that is important to me, but her not having it wouldn't have made our first time any less special.

I think many would like to but in the U.S. and many other countries just don't expect it. I suppose some men will demand this but I think that is a small number.

In some other countries it is a definite requirement. One I know is the Philippines. I lived there for a few years. I think that Muslims and Indians are very adament about that. I don't have personal knowledge but I believe that many countries in S E Asia still hold that sacred.

Depending on their cultures and traditions.
For example if they r from Europe they won't care, if they r from Oriental countries like Egypt they will care till death.

By the way i'm still virgin coz i believe that no one deserve to break my virginity except my future husband whom will be my only true lover.

I was told that if you loose your virginity before marriage there is added percentage where your divorce rate is higher then a person who kept theirs. I would rather have my wife be a virgin but if she isn't... oh well

Men and women should have the "don't ask, don't tell" policy just like gays in the military. What you don't know won't hurt you. However, both partners have the responsibility to inform each other of any medical conditions that put their partner's health in jeopardy.
