Does anyone know where I can find any informative (online or otherwise) sources on the legend of the Nibelung?

Much appreciated.

Aside from wikipedia, if possible please. Hopefully something that's a little more concrete in credibility. Literature, especially, would be very welcome.

Look for a book called THE NIBELUNGELEID (or Nibelungaleid, I have not read the book in years; spelling is uncertain). It is the authentic story of the origin of the ring, its curse, and the havoc it caused.
