many vehicles have "features" that can be activated/deactivated by programing.
If this is something that can be turned on/off, your owners manual will be the best source for an answer as to how to do it on your particular vehicle.

The beeping is to remind you that the key is in the ignition, it will do the same thing if you leave the lights on in the car and the door is open. It is to prevent you from wearing down the battery, not to signal to you that your door is open. Many people forget their lights on and come back to a dead car, even worse forget their keys in the car and then lock it and oops, no keys. The beeping just lets you know something isn't right so check..

Take it back to the dealer you purchased the car from and they can disconnect the wiring that makes it beep. I don't like mine either but it has saved me from leaving my keys in the ignition many a time.

You should ask the salesperson that sold you the car if there is anyway to cancel the warning beep.

the beep also serves as a reminder your keys are still in the ignition in case you had forgotten.

That's the way it works on pretty much any modern car.
Get used to it. There's a safety reason too, as others pointed out.
