No, I can't and don't. So I'm very careful what I promise as I don't ever want to break a confidence like that, or go back on my word. That's what the word MAYBE is for, in case you don't think you can make or keep a promise about something. Saying maybe let's them know you might be able to do something without a total commitment. And I SO hate when you say you might be able to do something or that you'd like to and the person you're saying that to later tries to claim that you "promised" them when you didn't. I have a good memory so I know what I've said! a**holes

I know its a challenge to keep a promise but, you only promise something you know you can achieve. If not, don't make someone expect, thats even worse.
Well, surprises are better though than promises.

Absolutely not. If one of my friends tells me something in confidence it goes nowhere. If I broke the promise, I would be disrespecting her/him and ultimately, myself.
