Im tempted to go see 300, but no one else wants to go, will have to wait for the dvd i guess..

No I haven't, but my brother-inlaw goes by himself all the time to the cinemas and he loves it. There's nothing wrong with going by yourself.

I go by myself all the time (when I'm at home). That's one of the things I enjoyed the most when I was a movie theatre manager: coming in to work early and watching a movie by myself with no one talking or anything. THAT is REALLY going to the movies by yourself!
I would also go to the movies by myself when there was something I wanted to see without going through the hassle of calling people and having to work around their schedules. When I go home in about a week and a half for vacation, I'll still go to the movies (since I still know people who work at the theatres and can get in for free :) ), but will probably go by myself, since they'll be working.

I have never gone by myself. Oh 300, dumb movie. It was a big success here in Greece too (of course) but I didnt go to see it, it is more like a fairytale, nothing to do with the real history. Ok you can go only if you like cartoons.

Oh, girl, go see it! I see films all the time by myself. It's sometimes better to have someone go with you so you can laugh at the previews and say how stupid they are, but GO- see 300- it's awesome, and I saw it by myself. All of my friends are in another town. :o( Be brave! Walk right up, buy your ticket and get some popcorn. You can do it, I have faith in you. You're fabulous!

I do that very often. I'm the type of person who likes to do certain things alone. If I do go with someone, majority of the time it's with my son, or a guy friend of mine, because we like to see the same type of movies. The only time I feel strange is when I go see a kiddie movie by myself.

No I haven't but I would have no problem doing so....go see the movie if you want to, it's not like you talk and hang out during the movie and 300 rocked!!!!

I haven't been by myself, but part of me would like to. Just so I could watch in peace. But, when you see someone alone in the cinema, you always think hmmmmm. And I'm too chicken to get over that.

I do all of the time if there is something I want to see and no one else does. It is no big deal, no one notices.
