I have used AVG Anti Virus, Zone Alarm Firewall, Spy-bot Search and Destroy and Ad Aware both spyware killers for years. They are all free for personal use and I have had no trouble with Viruses Trojans etc. AVG does not slow the system down as much as some other products and Zone Alarm allows a lot of personal configuration unlike the Windows Firewall. They can all be downloaded from the following link. http://www.computeractive.co.uk/ On the home page select downloads and then the appropriate category.I also use Windows Defender from the Microsoft site. It is safe to use two anti-spy products but never use more than one A/V as it can cause conflicts. You should run A/V and anti spy weekly. Hope this helps.

If you are probably paying a fee to BT for the additional Norton package, you should contact BT support. They may be the ones owning the license key with rights to redistribution.

I think if you go to the Norton site you can download a free trial and then just enter your product key in to that. They will let you have a free copy - you pay for the updates not the program really.

If you have a valid product key you can get the program from Symantec site (I think the Symantec Store). You would be advised to use a buddies computer to download the stuff and burn you a disk, as you don't want to go on-line without protection.

you're able to have a recuperate (not "restoration") partition on the workstation. employing this might reset the utility back to production unit specifications (whilst it replaced into new) and wipe out any bugs u would have. After u do a device recuperate ( returned not a "restoration" doing a restoration will basically take the bugs with it) then receive AVG anti-virus to guard ur workstation. it rather is a loose receive from AVG information superhighway website.
