I have developed a political (non-partisan) website forum to discuss current events but most domain names related to politics are already taken up by scavengers. In this regard, the below link is the domain that matches my website theme but confused if its over priced or not. If you have any other domain names that are not registered I would really appreciate it.

Thanks!

I've been doing little research on how to choose a good domain name for my company, and here are my 2 cents that count:

- Good extension - If a person is surfing around looking for a
site, and they know its name, most people will try .com.
- Easy to remember and find
-Short - Less than 7 characters, ideally. A simple name will
roll off the tongue more easily in conversation and less
chance of being mis-typed.
-Easy to spell - Make sure it passes the phone test, would
your friend be able to spell it correctly the first time without
your having to spell it for the

In reality you can't have it all. You should prioritize it in the context of your application, your users and market.

Last tip - domain names prices are very low. Consider to buy them all for the first year only before you publish your thoughts.

Good luck

In nearly every case names purchased this way are WAY overpriced. Generally it is NOT worth the money.

There are way to many names you can get that are not registered to these scavengers so just dont participate. Use your imagination and get your own name.

Like politicsinactiontoday.com or even ifitispolitics.com (yep they are both available as I write this) or one other one
itispolitical.com yep its available

Cost on any of the names I mentioned... 10/year or less depending on which domain service you use to register it.

some others also available
bestpolitical.com superpolitical.com yourpolitical.com

Any name containing "2" (to, too, today, etc) or "4" (for) is a bad idea because it is not easily understood by people whose first language is not English.

Hope this helps!
