What features would you want in your dream home?

A wraparound front porch with real steps going up to the porch (not those stupid patio cement steps on top of a patio)
The house is a two story with a dormers on the front of the house
The house has a 3 car garage with a breezeway in between the garage and the house. That way, I can sit out in the summertime in a screened in area.

My dream home has a foyer with hardwood floors and a half wall so I can see into the living room. On one side are the stairs leading up to the 4 bedrooms upstairs

The four bedrooms upstairs each have a large walk in closet with lots of daylight from the skylights. The two on each side of the hallway have a shared bathroom. All four bedrooms also have built in bookshelves. The dream home also has secret passageways that go up into the attic and from there, the catwalks will take you from one room to the other.

Downstairs, the kitchen has an island kitchen and a double oven, and lots of counter and storage area. It has a large area for barstools and a built in desk with a computer and a place to store all my paperwork.

The living room is very large, comfortable, and has a cozy atmosphere where people feel right at home.

I also have a dining room with lots of light and an oak table with leaves that can be removed or added so the table can seat anywhere from 8 to 20 comfortably.

Down the hall is an office and a laundry room. The laundry room has a large area to fold clothes and cubbys to put everyone's clothes into for them to take up to their rooms.

Next to that room is the master bedroom. It's cozy and a relaxing romantic retreat. We have a flat screen tv in our room mounted onto the ceiling so we can watch TV from our bed. By the way, the kids rooms have these also. But we have a master control that will shut off the internet and the TV in the middle of the night.

Our bedroom has a wonderful master bath with a garden tub and shower. We have skylights up above, and it's totally private so no one can see what we're doing in the garden tub :)

Outside of the kitchen is our deck which leads down to our sloping yard. But the neatest feature from the back of the house are the two circular stairs from the 2nd floor which lead down to the beautiful wooden deck. At the end of the yard, is Lake Michigan and our dock is there with our sailboat. I can go out to the gazebo and watch the sunset. We also have a swimming pool and a fire pit in the back yard, along with a large area for volleyball. Also, we have a gym set, that looks like it's out of a McDonald's playground that is enclosed from the basement.

The house has a walk out basement. The patio doors, located under the deck, lead from the yard into our house. In the downstairs is a small apartment area for guests. We have a large rec room, but there is also a HUGE storage area, and also some guest bedrooms, a nice bathroom, and a full kitchen.

Our house is fully solar powered, and can recharge a generator, so we have heat and electric. Our water to the house is totally pollution free and comes from a well so we don't pay for water.

Also, the back yard is landscaped with a beautiful terraced rock garden complete with a small stream and fish in a pond. We live near some woods for leisurely strolls.

Oh yeah, the house is already paid for, so we don't have a mortgage.

Oh man, I'd like a jacuzzi inside my home, a big marble one, a super modern kitchen, all stainless steel. Top of the line washer and dryer. My own gym and indoor swimming pool for doing laps, and a big pool outdoors. A pure white bedroom with a queen sized bed on a wooden platform. A plasma screen tv on the wall in the bedroom on the wall in front of the bed or on the ceiling. A huge bathroom with a huge bathtub and separate shower, all marble. Black, white and silver colored. The bath would have claw feet on it. Blonde wooden flooring, except in the kitchen and bathroom. I could go on and on!

I want it very energy efficient. Solar panels and geothermal at the very least.

A large kitchen with lots of counter space and cabinets. Granite counter tops would be nice, and an island with a prep sink. Two bedrooms is enough, but I'd like them nice sized, not like the tiny things now, and decent closet space. An open floor plan for the great room, dining area and kitchen. Oh, and a finished basement for my exercise equipment.

I'd like a nice view.

I'm not a big fan of bay windows, too hard to find window coverings. Outdoor rooms don't do it for me either. I like really big kitchens with lots of storage. My biggest splurge would be a Wolf 6 burner range and hood. It's all about the stove for me. I also really like good plumbing fixtures.

I'd like it to be loaded with High Tech, the garage must be able to handle 6 cars and shaded, I love my house to be only 2 floors. and the bed room must be full of candles.
